I'm a photographer living on Denman Island in British Columbia, Canada. I began working as a photojournalist in 1978 specializing in editorial assignments and stock images for magazines and book publishers.

In 1998 I was hired by North Island College in Courtenay, B.C. to design and establish a career program in professional photography which I now head. I also teach photography in the college's Fine Arts Department.

In my spare time I work on photo/art projects utilizing historic and contemporary techniques to create black & white or color imagery.

Over the years I've had photographs displayed in salons in Australia, Canada, Taiwan, France, Malaysia, New Zealand and the United States plus several solo and group exhibitions in west coast galleries.
